Hop aboard an authentic gondola and glide through the Grand Canal to the quiet of the most hidden and picturesque canals! Treat yourself to an unforgettable experience and let yourself be enchanted by the romantic views and enchanting atmosphere that only Venice can offer!

Along the way you will find the Venetian residence of the famous composer W. A. Mozart, the water entrance of the La Fenice Theatre and the Rio de le Ostreghe; you will cross part of the Grand Canal with its marvellous palaces, such as the building of the Peggy Guggenheim collection, the Punta della Dogana and the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute. In the distance you can enjoy a glimpse of the imposing Doge's Palace and the panoramic view of St Mark's basin.

At the end of the tour, you will receive a QR code to download a digital map with 2D images of Venice from the Middle Ages to the 18th century. You can compare some of the most fascinating places and discover how they appeared in different eras compared to today. Imagine that the Rialto Bridge was once a drawbridge and the Doge's Palace was once an authentic medieval castle!

Lastly, experience a ride in a unique virtual reality at the Gondola Galley and glide over the Grand Canal's tranquil waters at sunset over the centuries, and then discover the craftsmanship and secrets behind Venice's iconic boat with an up-close look at a sectioned model.

We had some trouble getting to the location because we didn't know we had to take a taxi from outside of Venice which made us late. Ultimately, it was our fault for not doing more research, but we would have appreciated a bigger heads up in the directions for those who were not already in that area of Venice. Otherwise, it was a great time and we enjoyed ourselves!!

We signed up for a gondola tour. Did not realize there would be another brief tour as we walked to the gondola docks. That was ok, but our primarty reason was to take a gondola ride. We enjoyed the gondola ride, however there was no interaction with the gondolier. Personally was not looking to be entertained by him or have an extensive conversation, but not even a welcome, hello or thank you.

This worked well for me as a solo traveller as the usual prices meant it wouldn't have been an option for me on my own. Bit of a guided tour on the way to the Gondola ride which was quite serene once we were on our way. A bit of waiting around so you need to allow a couple of hours taking everything into consideration. The gallery at the end was well worth staying for, you really felt that you were there and had gone back in time with the 3D experience.

The Gondola ride was a unique way to see the city. They were very kind and accommodating. We will definitely do this again on our next trip to Venice.

Experiencing Venice from a different perspective, from the canals, was a must do! Emma our guide gave us some extra info about Venice and the history of Gondolas, which was really interesting. Ending with a VR tour taking you back to the 15th century was quite entertaining.

Great short walking tour, followed up with a scenic gondola ride and then a tour into yesteryear with virtual reality goggles.
