The Vltava River has been the beating heart of Prague tourism for more than 160 years, ever since the Prague Steamboat Company (Pražská paroplavební společnost) was founded in 1865 by Mayor František Dittrich. Today, dozens of vessels — from 1938-built historic paddle steamers declared cultural monuments to fully electric glass catamarans launched in the 2020s — cruise daily under Charles Bridge, past Prague Castle, and through the narrow Devil's Channel (Čertovka).

This guide covers every boat available through Alle Travel, a marketplace connecting travellers with leading Prague boat operators. Each vessel has its own character, capacity, and best-fit cruise type, so whether you're planning a romantic dinner for two, a corporate event for 400, a wheelchair-accessible sightseeing trip, or a fairytale ride through the "Prague Venice" canals, there's a boat designed exactly for it.

Prague's River Fleet — 160 Years on the Vltava

The Prague Steamboat Company is one of the oldest continuously operating river transport companies in Central Europe. What began as a utilitarian steam ferry service in the mid-19th century has grown into a diverse fleet of more than twenty vessels representing every era of shipbuilding — from the 1938 paddle steamer Vltava (a certified Czech cultural monument) to the zero-emission glass catamarans of the 2020s. The modern brand "Prague Boats" operates as part of the EVD group (Evropská vodní doprava) and shares piers, crew, and scheduling infrastructure with the historic company.

Alongside Prague Boats, several independent operators — River Boats Prague, Cruise Prague, Lodě Gladius, and Pražské Benátky — add further diversity to the fleet. Together they serve routes ranging from one-hour sunset loops under Charles Bridge to multi-day cruises up the Vltava to Mělník, Slapy reservoir, and Prague Zoo.

Agnes de Bohemia

Czech name: Loď Agnes de Bohemia | Alternative names: Anežka Česká, "Agnes" (informal)

Agnes de Bohemia

The Agnes de Bohemia was the first new modern boat built for Prague in roughly thirty years and marked the beginning of the "Bohemia" series of glass-roofed cruisers operated by Prague Boats / Prague Steamboat Company. She was christened on 7 May 2014 at the ecological dock in Kampa, and the name pays tribute to St. Agnes of Bohemia (Anežka Česká), the 13th-century Přemyslid princess and patron saint of the Czech lands. The vessel was constructed in just four months at the Bolle shipyard in Derben, Germany — the same yard responsible for the Bohemia Rhapsody, Grand Bohemia, Bella Bohemia, Marie d' Bohemia, and Anna Carolina.

Pier: Dvořákovo nábřeží, Pier No. 3, near Čech Bridge (Čechův most), Prague 1.

Cruise types: Sightseeing, lunch and dinner cruises, group cruises, private rentals, corporate events, conferences, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries.

Capacity: Up to 100 passengers (cocktail); approximately 80 for a seated reception.

The Agnes de Bohemia's signature feature is its sliding glass roof over the single deck, which can be opened in good weather and closed during rain — guaranteeing a panoramic view in any season. The boat has restaurant and bar facilities, air conditioning and heating for year-round operation, and is among the fastest in its size class in Prague. Her displacement is 76.5 tonnes, and she meets the strictest European environmental standards on emissions and noise.

Anna Carolina

Czech name: Loď Anna Carolina | Alternative names: "Anna Karolína" (Czech spelling variant)

Anna Carolina

The Anna Carolina is one of the newest additions to Prague's eco-friendly fleet — a fully electric, completely silent glass catamaran that joined her sister ships Bella Bohemia and Marie d' Bohemia on the Vltava in 2023. Like the rest of the modern "Bohemia" series, she was built at the Bolle shipyard in Derben, Germany, and was specifically designed for emission-free sightseeing cruises through Prague's historic centre. Her arrival expanded Prague Boats' commitment to sustainable river tourism, an initiative that began with the Elektronemo solar boat back in 2010.

Pier: Dvořákovo nábřeží, Pier No. 3, near Čech Bridge, Prague 1.

Cruise types: Regular sightseeing cruises, evening cruises with Prosecco, private charters, corporate events, weddings.

Capacity: Up to 250 passengers.

The Anna Carolina's defining feature is its silent electric propulsion, paired with floor-to-ceiling glass walls that turn the entire deck into a panoramic viewing platform. An open upper observation deck gives passengers an unobstructed 360° view of Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, the Rudolfinum, and the National Theatre. Air conditioning and heating allow year-round operation, and the absence of engine vibration means commentary, music, and conversation are never interrupted.

  • Builder: Bolle shipyard, Derben, Germany
  • Year launched: 2023
  • Type: Glass catamaran
  • Propulsion: Fully electric (zero emissions)
  • Decks: 2 (enclosed glass main deck + open upper deck)
  • Capacity: 250 max
  • Operation: Year-round

Bella Bohemia

Czech name: Loď Bella Bohemia | Alternative names: "Bella" (informal)

Bella Bohemia

The Bella Bohemia made history in 2017 as the first fully electric pleasure cruise boat to sail in Prague — and the first in Europe of her size class. Constructed at the Bolle shipyard in Derben, Germany, she is an aluminium catamaran roughly 25 metres long and nearly 10 metres wide. Power comes from EST-Floattech energy storage systems with batteries totalling around 100–126 kWh, and at 50% engine load she can operate for more than six hours on a single charge.

Pier: Ecological dock at Kampa, near Charles Bridge, Prague 1 (also boards from Pier No. 3 at Čech Bridge for some cruises).

Cruise types: Eco sightseeing cruises, evening Prosecco cruises, private rentals, corporate events, weddings.

Capacity: Up to 250 passengers.

Bella Bohemia is silent, emission-free, and unmistakably eye-catching thanks to her aluminium body, panoramic glass walls, and open upper observation deck. The interior is fitted with self-standing AERO benches designed by Lievore Altherr Molina (Sellex) — a minimalist, timeless touch that lets the architecture of Prague take centre stage. She is air-conditioned and heated for year-round comfort.

  • Builder: Bolle shipyard, Derben, Germany
  • Year launched: 2017
  • Type: Aluminium glass catamaran
  • Length: ~25 m | Width: ~10 m

Bivoj (and Sister Boats: Šárka, Vlasta, Libuše)

Czech name: Loď Bivoj | Sister boats: Šárka, Vlasta, Libuše

Bivoj ищфе

Bivoj is a small mahogany boat made to order in Italy by master craftsmen between 2009 and 2010, and named after the legendary hero of Czech mythology. She belongs to a sister fleet of four nearly identical hand-crafted vessels — Bivoj, Šárka, Vlasta, and Libuše — all named after figures from old Czech legend. Their unmistakable charm and shallow draft make them the only boats (alongside the Elvíra, Mistr Jan Hus, and Elektronemo) able to enter the narrow Devil's Channel (Čertovka) and slip beneath Charles Bridge near Křižovnický Island.

Pier: Ecological dock at Kampa, near Charles Bridge, Prague 1.

Cruise types: Private hire only — small-group sightseeing, romantic cruises for couples, photo opportunities for weddings, family celebrations, special occasions.

Capacity: Maximum 9–10 passengers.

Italian mahogany construction gives Bivoj a warm, classic-yacht aesthetic that contrasts beautifully with the medieval architecture of Prague's Lesser Town. The hybrid eco-friendly motor keeps operation quiet and clean. From water level you get a perspective on Kampa Island, the Grand Priory Mill, and the Charles Bridge piers that no large vessel can offer. These boats are a popular complement to weddings on larger Prague Boats vessels, providing intimate photo cruises while the main reception continues elsewhere.

  • Builder: Italian master craftsmen
  • Material: Mahogany
  • Year built: 2009–2010
  • Propulsion: Eco-friendly hybrid motor
  • Sister boats: Šárka, Vlasta, Libuše
  • Capacity: 9–10 max
  • Best for: Devil's Channel, Kampa, Křižovnický Island

Bohemia Rhapsody

Czech name: Loď Bohemia Rhapsody | Alternative names: "Bohemian Rhapsody" (common misspelling)

Bohemia Rhapsody boat

Bohemia Rhapsody was christened on 7 May 2015 — exactly one year after her smaller sister, the Agnes de Bohemia. Built at the Bolle shipyard in Derben, Germany, in 212 days, she was Prague's flagship sightseeing cruiser at launch and remains one of the most technically advanced boats on the Vltava. The launch ceremony was attended by then-mayor of Prague Adriana Krnáčová and the German Ambassador to the Czech Republic, marking the 150th anniversary of Czech steam navigation. With a length of 44.97 m, width of 7.54 m, and a 123-tonne displacement, she is also one of the fastest boats of her size in Prague.

Pier: Ecological harbour at Kampa, Prague 1 (also boards from Pier No. 3 at Čech Bridge).

Cruise types: Sightseeing cruises, lunch and dinner cruises, evening party cruises, corporate events, conferences, weddings, private rentals.

Capacity: Up to 220 passengers.

The signature feature is the retractable all-glass sliding roof over the single deck — closed in rain or winter, fully open in summer — combined with audio commentary in 8 languages. The boat has its own restaurant and bar, air conditioning and heating, specially insulated deck preventing noise and vibration, and solar tempering and ventilation. The raised wheelhouse gives the helmsman a clear 360° view.

Cecílie

Czech name: Loď Cecílie | Alternative names: Cecilie, Cecilia

Cecílie boat

Cecílie is one of the largest boats in the Prague Boats / Prague Steamboat Company fleet — a vessel built specifically for large-scale events. After her most recent complete renovation, she emerged with a fresh, contemporary design and a boat-wide sound system that makes her a natural choice for dance parties, singles events, and team-building sessions. Although large, she handles the regular sightseeing routes through central Prague with the comfort of a floating restaurant.

Pier: Dvořákovo nábřeží, Pier No. 3, near Čech Bridge, Prague 1.

Cruise types: Group sightseeing cruises, lunch and dinner cruises, dance parties, singles parties, teambuilding events, corporate events, weddings, large-format private rentals.

Capacity: Up to 240 passengers (220 seated for buffet-style catering).

The most striking feature is Cecílie's sheer scale — she's hard to miss on the river. The interior offers a restaurant and bar, attractive modern design, and a boat-wide sound system perfect for music-driven events. The renovation gave her stylish surroundings ideal for both daytime and night cruises.

  • Operator: Prague Boats / Prague Steamboat Company

Elektronemo Solar-Powered Boat

Czech name: Loď Elektronemo | Alternative names: "Electro Nemo", "Solar boat", "Nemo"

Elektronemo boat

The Elektronemo is one of the most distinctive vessels on the Vltava — a Jules Verne-inspired solar-powered boat with a steampunk aesthetic that draws from the work of legendary Czech filmmaker Karel Zeman. First launched in 2010 after several years of development, she was the first solar-powered passenger boat in the Czech Republic and remains a unique project without peer in the country. The boat is powered by two electric motors of up to 4.4 kW, fed by three solar panels mounted on the roof, plus battery storage. Her artistic design was conceived in the style of traditional Verne engravings.

Pier: Ecological dock at Kampa, near Charles Bridge, Prague 1; also linked to the Karel Zeman Museum, with boarding via the museum's back entrance leading directly to the Devil's Channel.

Cruise types: Devil's Channel cruises, sightseeing around Kampa, private rentals for romantic and small-group experiences, year-round operation (covered and heated in winter).

Capacity: Up to 24–25 passengers.

The Elektronemo runs in near-total silence with zero emissions, panoramic windows for views, and a captain often dressed to match the Verne theme. She's roughly 10 metres long, with shallow draft so she can navigate the Devil's Channel in any season. In winter the cabin is covered and heated, making her the go-to vessel for Devil's Channel cruises during inclement weather.

  • Year launched: 2010
  • Length: ~10 m
  • Propulsion: 2× electric motors (up to 4.4 kW)
  • Power source: Solar panels (3 on roof) + batteries
  • Emissions: Zero
  • Climate control: Heated cabin (covered for winter)
  • Capacity: 24–25 max

Elvíra

Czech name: Loď Elvíra | Alternative names: "Elvira" (without diacritics)

Elvíra boat

Elvíra is one of the small, ecologically friendly boats specifically designed to sail through the narrowest reaches of the Vltava, including the Devil's Channel (Čertovka) around Křížovnický Island where the larger cruisers cannot fit. She comes from the same workshop as her sister vessel Mistr Jan Hus and shares the same aquacabrio-style design, with a low, shallow draft and an open layout that maximises viewing. Catering can be arranged on board through external suppliers since the boat does not have its own kitchen.

Pier: Čech Bridge (Pier No. 3), Dvořákovo nábřeží — also boardable at the ecological dock in Kampa near the Devil's Channel.

Cruise types: Devil's Channel cruises, Křížovnický Island cruises, small private charters, romantic cruises, special occasions.

Capacity: Up to 24 passengers.

  • Type: Aquacabrio (small open eco-cruiser)
  • Sister boat: Mistr Jan Hus
  • Propulsion: Eco-friendly (hybrid/electric)
  • Catering: External (no built-in kitchen)

Grand Bohemia

Czech name: Loď Grand Bohemia | Alternative names: "Grand Bohemian" (common misspelling)

Grand Bohemia boat

The Grand Bohemia is the flagship of the Prague Boats fleet — and arguably of the entire Czech Republic and Central Europe. She sailed into Prague in May 2018 from the Bolle shipyard in Derben, Germany, and combines the lessons learned from her predecessors Agnes de Bohemia and Bohemia Rhapsody with even greater scale and a more variable single-deck arrangement. At nearly 38 metres long, she is one of the largest single-deck event boats in the region.

Pier: Dvořákovo Embankment (Dvořákovo nábřeží) at Čech Bridge, Pier No. 3, Prague 1.

Cruise types: Sightseeing cruises, lunch cruises, premium dinner cruises (Crystal Dinner), corporate events, conferences, fashion shows, weddings, large-scale presentations, New Year's Eve parties with fireworks views, private rentals.

Capacity: Up to 550 passengers in theatre seating (typically operated up to ~400 for sightseeing/dining).

The Grand Bohemia's defining feature is a fully retractable all-glass sliding roof over the single deck — combined with a lounge at the bow, a bar at the stern, and an open upper deck offering 360° views. Year-round operation is guaranteed by air conditioning and heating. With its variable single-deck layout, she easily reconfigures for theatre seating, banquets, dance floors, or trade shows.

Horymír

Czech name: Loď Horymír | Alternative names: "Horymir" (without diacritics)

Horymír boat

The Horymír is a small, modern eco-friendly boat named after the legendary Czech hero who, according to myth, leapt with his horse Šemík from the Vyšehrad cliff into the Vltava. Her purpose-built design lets her navigate to places where larger cruisers cannot — the Devil's Channel and the Charles Bridge piers around Křížovnický Island. She is wheelchair-accessible, quiet in operation, and surprisingly elegant for her compact size.

Pier: Dvořákovo nábřeží, near Čech Bridge, Prague 1; ecological dock at Kampa for narrow-channel departures.

Cruise types: Sightseeing cruises, Devil's Channel cruises, accessible private rentals, romantic cruises, small-group charters.

Capacity: Up to 10 passengers.

Wheelchair accessibility is a real differentiator — the Horymír is one of only a handful of small Prague boats that can comfortably accommodate guests using mobility aids. She is quiet, ecologically powered, and offers the same hidden-corner access as the larger eco-fleet (Elvíra, Mistr Jan Hus, Elektronemo).

  • Type: Small modern stylish eco-boat
  • Propulsion: Electric / quiet eco-engine
  • Accessibility: Wheelchair-accessible
  • Capacity: 10 max
  • Best for: Devil's Channel, accessible cruises, intimate rentals

Lužnice

Czech name: Loď Lužnice | Alternative names: "Luznice" (without diacritics)

Lužnice boat

Named after the Lužnice River — a tributary of the Vltava that flows through South Bohemia — the Lužnice is widely regarded as one of the most luxurious boats not only in the Prague Boats fleet but in all of Prague. After a complete refurbishment in 2011, she received a stunning mahogany interior that turned her into the dedicated flagship of the celebrated "Sweet Prague" gourmet experience. With her air-conditioned main salon, smaller front salon, partially covered outdoor deck, and bar, she creates an atmosphere closer to a boutique floating restaurant than a tour boat.

Pier: Dvořákovo nábřeží, Pier No. 5, near Čech Bridge, Prague 1. The Sweet Prague cruise sails from Čech Bridge past the Smíchov locks to Vyšehrad.

Cruise types: Sweet Prague gourmet dinner cruises with live piano, lunch cruises, sightseeing cruises, romantic dinners for two, corporate dinners, weddings, anniversaries, New Year's Eve cruises (Sweet Prague NYE).

Capacity: Up to 100–144 passengers (58 inside, 86 on deck depending on configuration).

The mahogany interior is the signature touch — warm, polished, and unlike anything else in the Prague fleet. The Sweet Prague experience pairs a 3-course à la carte menu with live piano music, premium wines, and unforgettable views of monuments illuminated by night. The boat has air-conditioning, heating, and a no-smoking policy in interior areas. Not suitable for children under 3.

She is owned and operated by the family company River Boats Prague, who run her alongside her sister vessel Czech Boat. Despite her age, comprehensive modernisation has kept her up to contemporary comfort standards while preserving the character of a 1920s riverboat.

Pier: Nábřeží Na Františku / Dvořákovo nábřeží, Mooring No. 16 (under Štefánik Bridge / Štefánikův most), Prague 1.

Cruise types: 1-hour sightseeing cruises, 2-hour sightseeing cruises with buffet, 2-hour evening cruises with buffet and live music, private rentals, weddings, parties, corporate events.

Marie d' Bohemia

Czech name: Loď Marie d' Bohemia | Alternative names: "Marie de Bohemia", "Marie d'Bohème"

Marie d' Bohemia boat

The Marie d' Bohemia was the second fully electric boat to join the Prague Boats eco-fleet, following her predecessor Bella Bohemia. She was launched in 2021 and built at the Bolle shipyard in Derben, Germany. The most important upgrade compared to Bella is that she carries roughly twice the battery capacity, allowing longer emission-free cruising. Her name continues the "Bohemia" series tradition and gives a French flourish to the line, joining Bella, Anna Carolina, Agnes de Bohemia, Bohemia Rhapsody, and Grand Bohemia.

Pier: Dvořákovo nábřeží, Pier No. 3 / ecological dock at Kampa, Prague 1.

Cruise types: Sightseeing cruises, evening Prosecco cruises, group cruises, private charters (up to 250 people), corporate events, weddings, romantic cruises.

Capacity: Up to 250 passengers.

Like the rest of the modern Bohemia series, Marie d' Bohemia is a glass catamaran with floor-to-ceiling glass walls, an open upper deck for unobstructed views, and silent emission-free operation. The doubled battery capacity over Bella Bohemia gives her flexibility for longer routes. She is air-conditioned and heated for year-round operation.

  • Builder: Bolle shipyard, Derben, Germany
  • Year launched: 2021
  • Type: Glass catamaran
  • Propulsion: Fully electric
  • Battery capacity: ~2× that of Bella Bohemia

Mistr Jan Hus

Czech name: Loď Mistr Jan Hus | Alternative names: "Master Jan Hus", "Jan Hus boat"

Mistr Jan Hus boat

Named in honour of the 15th-century Czech reformer and theologian Jan Hus, the Mistr Jan Hus boat is the modern successor to the Elektronemo solar boat. She was built at the Podbaba shipyard in the Czech Republic, just like her predecessor, and was specifically designed to navigate the smallest, hardest-to-reach corners of the Vltava — the Devil's Channel, Křížovnický Island, and the area immediately around Charles Bridge — where larger cruisers simply cannot go. She runs purely on electric power.

Pier: Ecological dock at Kampa, Prague 1; boarding also possible at the back entrance of the Karel Zeman Museum, leading directly to the Devil's Channel.

Cruise types: Devil's Channel cruises, Křížovnický Island and Charles Bridge close-up cruises, cruises to Prague Zoo, small private rentals, romantic cruises, anniversaries.

Capacity: Up to 24 passengers.

Pure electric propulsion makes operation virtually silent — perfect for the narrow, echoing Devil's Channel where motor noise would shatter the atmosphere. Combined with shallow draft, she gets passengers within touching distance of medieval mill walls, the Grand Priory Mill water wheel, and the underside of Charles Bridge.

  • Builder: Podbaba shipyard, Czech Republic
  • Predecessor: Elektronemo
  • Propulsion: Pure electric (zero emissions, silent)
  • Submersion: Shallow (designed for narrow channels)
  • Capacity: 24 max
  • Best for: Devil's Channel, Křížovnický Island

Czech name: Vodouch (also Vodouš, Blatouch, Blatouš, Puškvorec, Plavuně — sister boats) | Alternative names: "Prague Venice boat", "Wooden Vodouch", "Patent Vltava boat" | Operator: Pražské Benátky

Vodouch boat

Vodouch is the signature wooden boat of Pražské Benátky (Prague Venice) and one of the most distinctive small vessels on the Vltava. She is a patentní vltavský člun — a patented Vltava boat — built in the spirit of late-19th-century Prague boat-making tradition, with a fully wooden construction, brass and bronze fittings, and a flat bottom that allows her to enter waters where almost no other boat can pass. The first Vodouch was launched in January 2002 as a replica of historic Prague boats once produced by the Übigau shipyard in Dresden. Subsequent sister boats — Blatouch, Vodouš, Puškvorec, Blatouš, and Plavuně — were built between 2005 and 2016, with the latest models built entirely from mahogany.

Pier: Judita Wharf (Judita), Křižovnické náměstí — to the left of the entrance to the Charles Bridge Museum, behind the statue of Charles IV, Prague 1. The wharf is in the unique water underground of the Old Town, beneath the last preserved arch of the Romanesque Judith Bridge from 1169.

Cruise types: Year-round Prague Venice sightseeing cruises (Devil's Channel, Charles Bridge, Old Town water underground), private events with music/jugglers/dancers, romantic cruises, special occasions. Ticket includes entry to the Charles Bridge Museum.

Capacity: Up to 32 passengers.

Vodouch is roughly 9.6–10 metres long and 3–3.2 metres wide, with a draft of just 0.38 metres — making her one of the few vessels capable of entering the Devil's Channel, sailing through the gothic underground spaces of the Charles Bridge Museum, and passing under the surviving arch of the Judith Bridge (1169). In winter, the boats are warmed by period stoves (lodní bubínek) and serve mulled wine; in summer, they offer cold beer or lemonade. Captains in Austro-Hungarian uniforms provide commentary, and the entire experience is designed to recreate 19th-century river travel.

  • First launched: January 2002 (original Vodouch)
  • Length: 9.6 m | Width: 3.2 m

  • Construction: Solid wood with brass/bronze fittings (later models in mahogany)
  • Heating: Period wood stove (winter)
  • Capacity: 32 max
  • Operation: Year-round

Adria

Adria boat

The Adria is a small boat with a maximum capacity of just 11 people, used mainly for intimate sightseeing cruises and private rentals. She does not have her own kitchen, so catering is provided by external suppliers. Despite her limited capacity, she offers similar comfort and services to the larger vessels, and the lower deck is equipped with a sound system. She is popular for romantic anniversary cruises and small private celebrations.

Operator: Prague Boats / Prague Steamboat Company.

Capacity: 11 max.

Hol Ka

Hol Ka boat

The Hol Ka is a modern wheelchair-accessible upper-deck catamaran, ceremonially launched on 7 August 2015. She is part of the Prague integrated transport system (PID) — the same ticket used in Prague's metro, trams, and buses also covers the ferry. The Hol Ka is the P7 ferryboat, connecting Holešovice with Štvanice Island and Karlín — a route the Prague Steamboat Company restored after an 85-year absence. Her engine power is 18 kW (planned future replacement with an electric motor), and she is equipped with an echosounder for monitoring Vltava riverbed depth.

Operator: Prague Steamboat Company.

Capacity: 12 max.

Vltava Steamboat

Vltava Steamboat

The Vltava is a historic restaurant paddle steamer first launched on 27 August 1940 from the PRAGA shipyard in Prague. Built specifically for the route to Štěchovice, she had to be shorter and narrower than typical steamers to navigate the busy locks. During WWII she was renamed Moldau I (Moldau being the German name for the Vltava). She continued service to Štěchovice until 1990, was partially repaired in 1991 to operate as a restaurant boat, and underwent her most recent complete reconstruction in 2007. In 2013 she was officially declared a Czech cultural monument. She is one of only two surviving steam-powered paddle steamers on the Vltava.

  • Technical specs: Length 53 m, width 5.1 m, 112.5 kW (150 hp) steam engine, max speed 16.5 km/h
  • Capacity: Up to 250–300 passengers (around 100 seated)
  • Highlights: Restaurant, café, wine bar, bar, salon, partially covered viewing deck. Engine room viewable during select cruises.

Vyšehrad Steamboat

Vyšehrad Steamboat

The Vyšehrad is the oldest and largest steamboat on the Vltava and the oldest surviving steam paddler in the Czech Republic. First launched in 1938 from the Ústí nad Labem shipyard (christened Antonín Švehla), she went through multiple renamings — Karlstein (1942), T.G. Masaryk (post-WWII), Děvín (1952), and finally Vyšehrad (1992). During WWII she served in Dresden as a field kitchen. In 2013 she was declared a cultural monument. As of 2025, the Vyšehrad no longer operates as a passenger vessel — she now serves as Prague's first steamship museum, permanently anchored at Rašín Embankment (Rašínovo nábřeží), opened to mark 160 years of steam navigation on the Vltava. Private events can still be booked on board.

  • Technical specs: Length 62 m, width 6.2 m (10.5 m over the paddleboxes), 165 kW (220 hp) engine, max speed ~17 km/h
  • Capacity: Originally 885 passengers; now up to 350 (199 seated)
  • Operator: Prague Steamboat Company
