You can visit the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum with the convenience of a pre-booked entrance ticket, a lunchbox, and a round-trip pick-up service from your Krakow hotel. You'll see original structures and objects on a moving and informative tour with a licensed guide.

After traveling for one hour and fifteen minutes, arrive at the Auschwitz I Museum and join a trained guide for a walking tour. In the Nazi camp, take a look at the barracks, watchtowers, and crematoria that are still standing.

Listen to your guide talk about the terrible Nazi crimes that were committed in the camps and about the day-to-day lives of the prisoners using the headset that is provided.

Take a break for lunch before continuing the walking tour at the Auschwitz-Birkenau II Memorial. Take a look at the ruins of the railroad, which once transported prisoners to the camps, as well as the gas chambers.

At the remembrance site, honor the camp's casualties and find out about survivors' accounts. Before returning to your Krakow hotel, take some time to explore on your own.

We had an excellent trip, once we did a reccy for where the pick up point was. The travel time is 1hr 30mins to Auschwitz, some other travellers didn't realise it was so far. As others say, it can seem a little rushed as other guides are behind you pushing your group onward, our guide was very informative and answered any questions we asked. Our coach driver was fabulous, he was funny, polite and a very safe driver. The tour operator was great and kept us informed as our trip was put forwards...

We had an excellent guide, he spoke in perfect English and slowly so everyone had time to listen and understand the information whilst watching the different exhibits. Aushwitz it's a mixture of indoors and outdoors, whilst Birkenau is all outdoors. So make sure to have a rain coat or umbrella and comfortable shoes.

everything went smoothly- you get sent a time when they pick you up. its about an hour 30 min drive I believe to the first stop. you get bathroom and coffee breaks if you did not have breakfast. the concentration camp itself well words really can't describe, so I will try. very unreal experience to see what these poor victims had to go through. There is a guide that will take over and go through both camps. so extremely sad your lunch you can honestly eat whenever: there is like two sandwiche...

This tour was well organised and sensitively handled. Our guide expertly guided us from pick up to handover at site and injected a welcoming friendliness and appropriate cheerfulness . I was understandably anxious about this visit but was made to feel comfortable as well as gaining new knowledge. The guide on site was excellent. This is not an easy trip in terms of facing the reality of the holocaust for most of us who have grown up with films and documentaries. I was able to quietly pay my r...

The tour was very well organised. The bus picked us up in the morning by our hotel, and we were transported to Auschwitz directly. At the museum we had a guide who shared important context to the exhibits. He was very knowledgeable. Throughout the tour we had clear communication with the organisers, and at the end they dropped us off at the hotel again. In the middle of the tour we has a short break for the packed lunch. Overall the tour is a very good value for your money.

We were picked up by minibus from 300m from the hotel at 10:30 am. It took 30 minutes until they picked up all the participants. The journey to Auschwitz was 1 hour 20 minutes. The guide at the museum was wonderful, she gave us a lot of interesting details. We returned to Krakow around 6 pm.

Lunch was included and was nice, two rolls a piece of fruit, water and a snack bar. This was not given to us until 3pm so not really lunch time. We were picked up at 8.15am but a change of plan dropped us off in the centre so made our own way back which is one of the reasons we chose this option!

Pick up was scheduled close to the hotel as the bus could not come down the road we staying on. It worked out perfect and communication was good. We were able to leave bags on the bus since Auschwitz has a size restrictions on bags. I appreciated that. The tour was great and to include transportation and everything organized for us (even a few sandwiches!), it felt like a great deal. Would recommend anyone staying in Krakow and planning to do Auschwitz, to boom this way.

This was an interesting trip and very informative, best to see it in real life to understand and feel the utter horror of it all. It is a bit of a conveyor belt with guided tours so I suggest that if you really want to take time and read things or stop for some reflection time then you are better off going on your own. We didn't get given any real time for lunch which was disappointing. We got handed our lunch as we set off from Auschwitz to Birkenau on the mini bus which was a short ride. Wh...
