Very sad place, heavy weather. But something that deserves to be visited so that human beings never forget what happened there. Too sad part of history and it's important to remember the past so that it never happens again in the future.

Lunch was included and was nice, two rolls a piece of fruit, water and a snack bar. This was not given to us until 3pm so not really lunch time. We were picked up at 8.15am but a change of plan dropped us off in the centre so made our own way back which is one of the reasons we chose this option!

You have to do this tour if in Krakow or nearby, it's a no brainer! Was very emotional but super educational and informative. Very well organised and great hosts and tour guide. DO NOT MISS. Was the best activity I did during my travels across all of Poland.

We had an excellent guide, he spoke in perfect English and slowly so everyone had time to listen and understand the information whilst watching the different exhibits. Aushwitz it's a mixture of indoors and outdoors, whilst Birkenau is all outdoors. So make sure to have a rain coat or umbrella and comfortable shoes.

A very sad place that everyone should visit. Unfortunately, the museum is not very well organized. The group consisted of about 20 people and I believe that this is the maximum number for comfortable sightseeing. Nevertheless our driver who was also the tour leader spoke good english and was helpful.

We were picked up by minibus from 300m from the hotel at 10:30 am. It took 30 minutes until they picked up all the participants. The journey to Auschwitz was 1 hour 20 minutes. The guide at the museum was wonderful, she gave us a lot of interesting details. We returned to Krakow around 6 pm.

Pick up was scheduled close to the hotel as the bus could not come down the road we staying on. It worked out perfect and communication was good. We were able to leave bags on the bus since Auschwitz has a size restrictions on bags. I appreciated that. The tour was great and to include transportation and everything organized for us (even a few sandwiches!), it felt like a great deal. Would recommend anyone staying in Krakow and planning to do Auschwitz, to boom this way.

All in all the trip was well organised. Although we had booked with hotel pick-up, this could not be realized. The packed lunch was sufficient. Our guide (was a woman) was great. Because we were a relatively small group, she took her time and answered our questions. The visit to Auschwitz was very formative. Although we were there for about 5 hours at 30 degrees, we didn't mind because we were totally focused. This "experience" has a long-lasting effect.

This tour was well organised and sensitively handled. Our guide expertly guided us from pick up to handover at site and injected a welcoming friendliness and appropriate cheerfulness . I was understandably anxious about this visit but was made to feel comfortable as well as gaining new knowledge. The guide on site was excellent. This is not an easy trip in terms of facing the reality of the holocaust for most of us who have grown up with films and documentaries. I was able to quietly pay my respects as representative of my father who had the unfortunately duty of liberating another smaller camp, Bergen Belsen.
