The trip was great. The bus picked us up on the near bus station and took us to Auschwitz 1 and later to Auschwitz 2. The ride was comfortable and the guide was really nice. We were also very satisfied with lunchboxes (sandwiches with hummus and with ham, apples and chocolate bars). We wouldn't change a thing about the whole thing :)

The day before the trip, we received a call and they confirmed the pickup time. Our driver Peter arrived on time and took us straight there. Was great to skipped the security queue, there were many school parties that day. Finally the tour was conducted by a fluent English speaker. Happy to recommend.

The experience itself was powerful and unforgettable. I wish our tour guide allowed more silence to reflect and take in the enormity of the moment, instead she repeated statistics over and over that, while devastating, took up the focus we wanted to have to process emotionally what we saw and heard.

An excellent trip. The tone of the guide's commentary was in keeping with the nature of the camp and was very informative. The tour was very well organised and the guide was very friendly and helpful. We were provided with a packed lunch, which was much more substantial than I was expecting. I'm really glad I visited the concentration/extermination camp, because it helped me to understand in a very immediate and profound way the horrors that were inflicted upon the prisoners. The cruelty that mankind is capable of is terrifying. However, given the atrocities that occurred at Auschwitz and Birkenau, and the emotional impact of the exhibits and the camp itself, it is probably a trip you only want to make once in your life. A very memorable trip to an exceptionally important historic site of remembrance.

We had booked a tour that would pick us up at the hotel at 11am. The evening before, we received a msg that instead of 11am it was going to be 5.15am. There was no possibility to cancel the trip as this option was mentioned in their conditions. A cancellation from our side with refund was also not possible. So, there was no other option then accepting (or don't go at all). We had to find a night shop to buy some food stuff as we were fare to early for breakfast in the hotel. We were warned that at the premises, no food could be bought. According to the bus driver that picked us up, this was more or less standard procedure. This was a very big annoyance for us. Except for that, the trip was really impressive. We had a very good guide (young polish woman) who spoke English very well and was really involved in everything what happened there

So you have to have a guide when you go to Auschwitz Birkenau. You can go alone, but I don’t know how you would do it because all I saw our group led by guides. The guys have told as in either history or language. Our guide was a woman from Poland, and her grandfather was in conscripted to work at Auschwitz. She was very knowledgeable, and let us through the camps with confidence, and she was easy to understand.

Had an amazing host who was extremely knowledgeable not only about Auschwitz but also about Krakow and Poland its self. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone who is looking to see Auschwitz at their own pace. Entrance into Auschwitz museum was difficult and very busy. This was of no fault of out guide it was more down to the museums own disorganisation.

Trip was excellent but very tiring to do both tours on same day especially if not used to walking that much on one day. After all that walking, coach did not stop us in pick up point but further away - which meant more walking to our hotel

Having read many books and watching many many movies I thought I was prepared. I was so mistaken. You can never prepare for the overwhelming feelings walking the same grounds as those murdered, forced to work, being starved to death and those who liberated. The sights, sounds, smells I’m sure haunted their dreams. It was 30+ degrees out the day we went and walking the concrete corridor to the starting point I was covered in goosebumps. Our guide was incredible and left us with a closing I will not ever forget. We must never forget those who died or those who survived. May they all rest in peace
