Very sad place, heavy weather. But something that deserves to be visited so that human beings never forget what happened there. Too sad part of history and it's important to remember the past so that it never happens again in the future.

We had an excellent guide, he spoke in perfect English and slowly so everyone had time to listen and understand the information whilst watching the different exhibits. Aushwitz it's a mixture of indoors and outdoors, whilst Birkenau is all outdoors. So make sure to have a rain coat or umbrella and comfortable shoes.

everything went smoothly- you get sent a time when they pick you up. its about an hour 30 min drive I believe to the first stop. you get bathroom and coffee breaks if you did not have breakfast. the concentration camp itself well words really can't describe, so I will try. very unreal experience to see what these poor victims had to go through. There is a guide that will take over and go through both camps. so extremely sad your lunch you can honestly eat whenever: there is like two sandwiches, water, juice, apple, a bar and mentos gum. really highly recommend to go.

This was an interesting trip and very informative, best to see it in real life to understand and feel the utter horror of it all. It is a bit of a conveyor belt with guided tours so I suggest that if you really want to take time and read things or stop for some reflection time then you are better off going on your own. We didn't get given any real time for lunch which was disappointing. We got handed our lunch as we set off from Auschwitz to Birkenau on the mini bus which was a short ride. When we arrived at Birkenau I expected the tour guide to give us at least 10 minutes to finish our lunch but they didn't, we had to get straight off the bus!

Lunch was included and was nice, two rolls a piece of fruit, water and a snack bar. This was not given to us until 3pm so not really lunch time. We were picked up at 8.15am but a change of plan dropped us off in the centre so made our own way back which is one of the reasons we chose this option!

You have to do this tour if in Krakow or nearby, it's a no brainer! Was very emotional but super educational and informative. Very well organised and great hosts and tour guide. DO NOT MISS. Was the best activity I did during my travels across all of Poland.

We had an excellent trip, once we did a reccy for where the pick up point was. The travel time is 1hr 30mins to Auschwitz, some other travellers didn't realise it was so far. As others say, it can seem a little rushed as other guides are behind you pushing your group onward, our guide was very informative and answered any questions we asked. Our coach driver was fabulous, he was funny, polite and a very safe driver. The tour operator was great and kept us informed as our trip was put forwards 2hrs.

A very sad place that everyone should visit. Unfortunately, the museum is not very well organized. The group consisted of about 20 people and I believe that this is the maximum number for comfortable sightseeing. Nevertheless our driver who was also the tour leader spoke good english and was helpful.
