Take a half-day excursion from Venice to the Venetian lagoon's islands of Murano and Burano. Your tour will begin at St. Mark's Square, where you will board a boat for a trip to the northern lagoon.
English, Spanish, French, German, and Italian commentary on the region will be provided during the crossing.
The first stop is Murano Island, which is famous all over the world for making glass. You will have the opportunity to visit a glass factory and observe a local artist shaping a glass sculpture. You will then have some time to explore the island and take in the beautiful views.
Burano, one of the lagoon's most tranquil and beautiful islands, is the next destination. Burano has a long history of producing lace and is well-known for its colorful houses. Before the boat returns to Venice, you will have ample time to explore the island and take in the tranquil setting.
