We then leave the Island of Burano and take a short boat ride to the Island of Torcello, known as the “Mother of Venice”.You have chance to Visit the Basilica, which is one of the oldest in the Lagoon and holds some beautiful mosaics, or maybe visit the museum. If not you can just spend your time walking around this enchanting and very historical island.

Good visit to watch a glass master make a vase and a little horse, then some time to enjoy Murano island. On to Burano to explore it for a wee while. All in all a good little tour for €20

The duration is perfect, we didn't get tired of the boat and there's enough time to visit and explore the islands. The check-in process was easy to find, was a very relaxing activity. I recommend it, Murano is the most famous for the crystal handcrafted goods, but Burano is prettier in my opinion and we liked most.

Could not hear the tour guide at all. Voice was not loud and lower level could not hear her. Murano was all about buying Murano, which of course we did. There was nothing in Burano to see. Too a few pics and found a bar. Boat ride was fine and comfortable. Rather crowded.

We went to Venice and got a tip from relatives to make sure we add this trip to our itinerary. Easy to book online but when we tried the google map link on the ticket to find the meeting place, we were directed to another Calle Seconda dela Fava near Rialto instead. Good thing that we went early, as we realised we can't find any Serenissima Boat desk and later found it the desk is all the way in San Marco. Very confusing for first timers in Venice!! When we finally got there, I showed our eticket and was asked to stand on the side. We were one of the first ones to board the boat but got stopped as they had to verify our tickets so they set us aside to let the rest of the passengers board while she waited for confirmation on our booking. We were pissed off from both waiting under extreme heat and missing our opportunity to get a good seat on the ferry!!! The staff needs to work on their communication skills and fix the google map link issue. However, since Murano and Burano are great places to stay, we eventually let go of these and had a very memorable experience. I would probably research for another company offering the same tour or just go by yourself using the water taxi so you wont have any time constraint!

This tour is easy to book and very convenient to travel to the two islands- skipping the queues of the independent boats. That said, our two points of feedback are 1) it would be beneficial to have even 30 minutes extra on each island- even an hour more wouldn’t hurt in Burano. There just wasn’t enough time to experience it - walk around, have a casual gelato or pop into a shop. And certainly not have lunch without rushing. Also, the guide on the boat is impressively multi lingual and very kind- but it was a shame because we could not hear a single thing she said over the loud speaker with the muffled noise. So we missed out on the entire “guided” element while on the boat, and didn’t know what we were passing or what’s was going on.

The tour was well organized and run on time. The glass blowing demo at Murano was good and impressive although it felt a bit short. We had lots of time for some shopping afterwards. We had to skip the visit to Burano due to some time limitations we had. overall it was a great experience.

Booked this trip for my mum and I - short city break to Venice. Well organised, and structured, and the guide - multilingual and approachable - made it easier to understand timings and locations at each stop. However, meeting point is quite a way from the actual boat so you do need to be able to keep up with the group for a fast walk over 3 bridges and waiting in the sun with no seating prior to this walk for about 30 mins. On the boat, large vessel, lots of seating inside and upstairs - mostly covered, and clean, well maintained, and well staffed - both helpful and supportive. The glass factory on Murano - particularly the demo - was amazing! A true artist and expert in his field!!! The factory shop was a little disappointing, as the prices were much higher than on the mainland. The island itself - Murano - is beautiful and well worth a quick wander around... though you don't have long to look before jumping back on the boat. Burano - beautiful to look at and again well worth a wander around... the lace demo is a bit underwhelming - a lady sat in a rocking chair showing how she sews - but the lace work around and other fabric products in many shops were beautiful and worth a look. Great restaurants and cafes to eat and drink in as well... I would recommend this trip to all...
