From Budapest: Lake Balaton Tour

Visit Lake Balaton, the largest freshwater lake in Central Europe and known to locals as the Hungarian Sea. Visit Balatonfured, the most important traditional bathing resort, located on the northern shore.

Ramble along the tree-lined avenues and enjoy the ambiance of the 18th century villas. Walking along the yachting marina, you will enjoy the view of Tihany Peninsula. Take a boat for a 1-hour cruise on the lake.

After lunch break (not included), you will stop for swimming on the way to Tihany. You will drive to Tihany Peninsula, a magnificent nature reserve at Lake Balaton. Admire the most amazing view of the lake from Abbey Hill in Tihany village then discover the inner lake and lavender fields. After this, you will return to Budapest where the tour ends in the city center.
