We had fun. But unfortunately it wasn't as described and we had to rush from bar to bar. So everything had to happen quickly and we didn't find out anything other than the fact that we drank so and so much alcohol. No brewery was introduced or anything more detailed was told. Let's put it this way. We had fun with it and well...

We were picked up from our hotel a little later than planned, but the driver was very nice. During the ride to Kutna Hora the guide told a story, but because her English was not very understandable, we did not hear everything. The ossuary was smaller than we expected and we didn't have much time to look around, for example the cemetery around it. We also looked at two churches and the tour ended with 30-40 minutes of free time to get something to eat before the return journey. All in all I liked it, but it was a shame that the guide was not always understandable and that it was sometimes a bit rushed due to time.

Dresden is about 2 hours away from Prague the guide gets you tickets for the Zwinger and then takes you a walk round the old town of Dresden and then the rest of the time is your own to visit the Zwinger and do whatever else you want. In total you spend 5 hours in Dresden and it is really worth seeing excellent day out.

A must do tour if you are in Prague!! Don’t miss it. The tour was great….we saw a lot of wall art/murals, graffitis, some hidden within plain sight, went to the art district, explored a couple of galleries and art cafés. Our guide knew a lot about Art & the artists and their work as well Czech history and it was great to get first hand perspective from a local and get art information from her.

Our guide who took us from Prague to Terezin was very nice, attentive and willing to make our tour the best possible. After the field he took us to know the town of Terezin and information about it. The guide inside the concentration camp was not so nice, it seemed like she was in a hurry because she didn't explain anything and she was going very fast. However, I would recommend a visit.

Preis Leistung Ok.

We loved this tour, it was informative and well organised. So many poignant facts but told sensitively and respectfully whilst not taking away from what the experience would have been for those that were here during the war. I would have liked a little more time in the museum in Terezin itself as there was a lot to take in, which was the feeling for most in our group. I liked that we had a small group and it was not over crowded as some other things in Prague have been. Would highly recommend to anyone with an interest in this area.

Best Excursions and Tours in Prague — Alle Travel
Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, is one of those cities that genuinely rewards exploration — and having a good guide makes all the difference. Whether you're drawn to the Gothic spires, the winding lanes of the Old Town, the views from Prague Castle, or the atmosphere along the Vltava River, a well-chosen tour can turn a great trip into an unforgettable one. On this page you'll find a curated selection of Prague tours and experiences — from walking tours through the historic centre and boat trips along the Vltava to food tastings, day trips, and more. Browse what's available, compare options, and book the experiences that match the kind of trip you're looking for.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best way to see Prague's main landmarks if I only have a day or two?
A good approach is to combine different types of tours. A walking tour through the Old Town and Prague Castle covers the historical highlights on foot, while a Vltava River cruise gives you a completely different perspective on the city's skyline and bridges. Mixing these formats lets you take in Charles Bridge, the Astronomical Clock, and the castle district without feeling rushed.
Is a private tour worth it, or should I join a group tour in Prague?
It depends on what you're after. Group tours are sociable and affordable — a great way to get oriented and meet other travellers. Private tours let you set the pace and focus on whatever interests you most, whether that's architecture, history, or finding the best local spots. They're also a good option for families or anyone celebrating a special occasion.
What should I wear on a Prague sightseeing tour?
Comfortable shoes are essential — Prague's cobblestones and hills are beautiful but demanding underfoot. Layers work well since the weather can shift during the day, especially near the river. For evening experiences like dinner cruises, smart-casual dress is a good fit. Dressing practically means you'll actually enjoy the walking rather than counting the steps.
What is typically included in the price of a Prague tour?
It varies by experience. Walking tours generally include a licensed guide, river cruises cover the trip itself and often a welcome drink, and food tours include all tastings along the route. Day trips cover transport to and from Prague. Entry fees to specific attractions are listed separately where they apply — always check the "What's Included" section on the tour page so you know exactly what to expect.
How far in advance should I book Prague tours?
For popular experiences — especially private tours, evening cruises, and anything during peak season — booking a few days to a week ahead is a good idea. During summer and around holidays, high-demand tours can fill up quickly. If your plans are more last-minute, check live availability on the page — group tours sometimes have remaining spots, and flexibility with dates helps.
What is the cancellation policy for Prague tours?
Most tours on Alle Travel offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time, with a full refund. This means you can book with confidence even if your plans aren't fully set. Some special events or seasonal experiences may have different terms, so it's worth checking the specific cancellation policy on the tour page before you confirm.
Are Prague tours conducted in English?
Yes — all group and private tours are led by professional guides who speak fluent English. Many tours also offer commentary in other languages such as German, Spanish, or French. Language options vary by tour, so check the details on the specific experience page to confirm what's available.
When is the best time of year to visit Prague for tours?
Prague works well year-round, but the experience changes with the seasons. Spring (April–June) and early autumn (September–October) offer mild weather, manageable crowds, and ideal conditions for walking tours. Summer is the busiest period — long days and warm evenings are perfect for river cruises, though popular tours book up faster. Winter brings Christmas markets, a dusting of snow over the red rooftops, and a quieter, more atmospheric city — just dress warmly for anything outdoors.
Are Prague tours suitable for children?
Most are, though it depends on the activity. Daytime walking tours and sightseeing cruises are generally family-friendly, and many cruises offer free or discounted tickets for young children. Evening experiences geared toward adults — such as pub crawls or wine tastings — aren't ideal for kids even if there's no strict age restriction. Food tours and castle visits tend to work well for older children who are curious and happy to walk. Each tour page lists age policies and pricing, so check before booking.
What safety measures are in place on Prague tours?
Tour operators in Prague follow Czech and EU safety standards. River cruises carry required safety equipment, and crew provide a briefing before departure — in poor weather, operators may cancel or reschedule for passenger safety. Walking tours follow pedestrian-friendly routes, and guides are experienced at managing groups in busy areas like Charles Bridge and Old Town Square. Private transfers use licensed, insured vehicles. If you have mobility concerns or specific health needs, check the "Important Info" section on each tour page — many experiences note accessibility details upfront.
