It was great value for money. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to communicate the history vividly and enthusiastically so you could not help to be enthralled. I struggle with an issue in my back and neurological issues, the guide was patient and took that into account. Great value for money, great guide, would highly recommend!

"Our tour leader Cosimo was excellent. Booking was simple through the App. It’s a long day, but worth the investment in time. Pompeii is incredible. You could spend longer there, but 2-hrs was enough for us and it allowed us time to Positano. Positano is a site to see. VERY busy (August), but that’s also interesting. Kudos to our amazing driver! This was our first guided tour experience ever so we were a bit hesitant but it was absolutely worth it. These destinations are so overrun with tourists and so devoid of signage that it felt essential to have someone to help appreciate the ruins. We can't stop talking about all that we saw and will definitely be back!

While St. Peter's Basilica is free to enter, you can opt for a guided tour ticket that includes both the Vatican Museums and the basilica. If you enter on your own, you will be required to go through security, and lines can be long. It is advisable to hire a guide.

Very glad we got the skip the line ticket, but the bus tour through the gardens was disappointing. it was difficult to see anything from the bus we were on and the audio did not always match what we were looking at. The driver routinely stopped too far up from the interest points see them, let alone to take pictures. I would recommend a walking tour if you want to really enjoy the gardens

We chose a tour that included the underground area of the Colosseum. Also chose the tour that meant very little queuing and was advertised as a small group. We ended up being a tour of 4 people plus our guide Maya. It was an excellent tour made more interesting by our well informed local guide Maya.

An amazing tour, definitely worth seeing these sites with a guide to get the best experience. The knowledge and interactivity of our guide Yuri helped make the experience much more memorable! The Colosseum really was the main event however the Forums and Palatine Hill were just as interesting and beautiful.

Having a guide is excellent both for understanding how the Colosseum was built and how it fit into the history of Rome as well as simply helping navigate the structure and crowds. It’s helpful to be able to take your time looking at details and imaging how things were, with good narration.

A bit difficult to find the ticket office to exchange the voucher for tickets, but it worked out fine. Worth not waiting on extra lines. Security is long enough. The Vatican museum is huge and well worth the visit. The actual Sistine Chapel part was a bit crowded and the attendants were rather rude. Yes, it is a sacred place, but shouting ""silence"" was a bit off putting overall.

this was a great trip, well worth the money. out Guide Emmanuel was able to smooth down the 3 hours travel time (one way) providing us with all kind of information and jokes. he was the best indeed. Pompeii is a great place to visit. so is the vesuvius

Such a great tour! Everything was well organized and our guide did a fantastic job of keeping track of everyone and setting expectations. It was raining incredibly hard when we arrived at Pompeii however our local guide did a fine job of navigating the group around puddles and kept a good pace for the tour despite the bad weather. Positano was fabulous and I have to applaud the bus driver for navigating those tricky roads. Such a fun experience- would recommend.

There are not enough words to describe the amazing day I had on this full day, jam packed tour. My tour guide Claudio was excellent and made the day enjoyable with his love and knowledge of all things Italy. This tour exceeded my recommendations and was exactly as described. It was a long day with an approx. 2-hour drive from Rome to Pompeii but so worth it. Claudio used the driving time to educate me on Italy. The Neapolitan pizza was great and came with plenty of food. Shout out to our skillful and great driver, Gianluca. Can't wait to go back to Italy and book another tour.

We opted to upgrade to the audio guide and we would highly recommend that. You can do that once you’re there. The museum has great information and take a lot of time. The Sistine Chapel was off the charts! No pictures allowed in there and also be aware of the dress code. It’s a holy place and silence is a must. The Tourist station you check in at is a pink house opposite side of the museum.

The tour was great. Luana (not sure if I heard that correctly but she also spoke French and German) was an amazing guide. The history she gave in each sites and the stories/myths about Ancient Rome were so fascinating. It was just the right amount of time to explore the sites.

This tour was great overall. We loved the underground experience. Maya was a knowledgeable guide and was very responsive to our group’s questions. Our only downside was not having enough time to listen, learn AND take pictures. Apparently, 3 hours is not enough to deal with 2,000 years of history.

Brilliant experience and couldn’t fault the tour from start to finish. It’s a long day but you can sleep on the coach. The day is well planned and you stop once each way for refreshments and toilet breaks etc. Both Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius were unreal and are a must if you have a spare day in Rome. Highly recommend.

We had a great time seeing the colosseum. Our guide Lucia was great! We went on a Sunday. Keep in mind the other museums are closed on Sundays so this is the busiest day for the colosseum. If your going on Sunday you will not see much without a guide, it is way too packed.

"It's a long ride both ways, so be prepared to ride for a while. There is a nice break around the halfway point. We were picked up on time with a group of about 12 travelers. Good balance between tour information and giving us time to see and think for ourselves. Paolo, the tour leader at Pompeii, was outstanding. Very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the subject. He did an excellent job on a brutally hot day of showing us a lot in the time we had, while still giving us time in the shade to cool off. Lorenzo was extremely knowledgeable and personable as he walked us through history. We could really visualize the events of the past. Lorenzo did not rush through the tour, but gave us just the right amount of information to keep it interesting. Well worth the time!
